Associate at Ioannis Vassardanis and Partners Law Firm. Despoina Chatzopoulou focuses mainly in the areas of Arbitration and Energy. More specifically, Despoina has concluded an LLM in International and European Energy Law with a focus on investment arbitration and public international law. She has also contributed to the book Introduction to International Energy Law, published in Greek by Nomiki Bibliothiki under the auspices of the Krateros Ioannou Research Institute, with a chapter on International Trade and Energy.

During her studies, she has been several times, both as a participant and a coach, a member of the team that has successfully represented the Democritus University of Thrace in the Telders International Law Moot Court Competition. Prior to joining our firm, Despoina gained experience in public, environmental law and property law during her traineeship in the Mortgage and Land Registry of Thessaloniki and law firms in Thessaloniki.
